Here are some recommendations from our site team on how to attach the bubble-test kit hose to the Cloacina system when testing the whole cassette/train in-situ for the initial inspection:

  • Locate the priming pump suction connection to the permeate header
    • This is usually a ¾-1” flanged connection
  • Remove the priming pump flange and replace with the flange in the kit, (reusing the existing gasket) which has the John Guest 3/8” line.
  • Re-torque the flange, carefully as PVC flanges are prone to cracking.
  • In instances where there is no flanged connection for the priming pump, work your way backwards to the flexible suction line.
    • Remove this from the priming pump king nipple (barbed fitting)
    • Install adapter to flexible line for bubble test kit line.
